Chadwick Shores is a relaxed community nestled between Chadwick Bay to the east and Fullards Creek to the north. Stroll through the streets and you’ll see an established neighborhood, occupied by diverse homes and people, full of mature trees and landscaping, and a variety of amenities for residents and guests.

Our gated community is ideal for families, complete with a playground, covered picnic tables, and a waterfront park. Your pets are family, too, and we accommodate them with pedestrian-friendly dog waste stations throughout the neighborhood.  The community speed limit is 25 mph.

At Chadwick Shores, you’re close to public beach access at North Topsail, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Stone Bay, and the Sneads Ferry Community Center.

Chadwick Shores is proud to welcome members of the armed forces and their families to our community.

The Chadwick Shores Homeowners Association (CSHOA) governs the community and aims to create a more relaxed environment for homeowners. At Chadwick Shores, residents enjoy fewer HOA restrictions than other gated communities in the area. The CSHOA is always open to ideas from neighbors, making our community a place for people to thrive.

Residents enjoy the waterfront park from underneath the covered picnic tables, with views of the blossoming landscaping and mature trees. It’s the ideal place to launch kayaks and paddle boards, spend an afternoon fishing, or host a cookout with guests.

Our neighborhood is pedestrian friendly, and we’re only a short drive from North Topsail Beach, Camp Lejeune, and the Sneads Ferry Community Center. Pet owners love our walkways with doggie waste stations readily available. Chadwick Shores has a playground for younger kids and an open space with soccer and volleyball nets. This is the perfect place to host birthday parties and family gatherings. You’ll even find a take-a-book, leave-a-book outdoor library located on Dale Drive between Shellbank Drive and Chadwick Shores Drive.

Meet the Chadwick Shores Board Members

Chadwick Shores is the kind of place where neighbors can make a difference together. There are currently five residents serving the community as volunteers on the CSHOA board. Each board member serves a 2 -year term, with elections held for 3 members one year, followed by 2 members the following year. Each year, board positions are selected by the incoming board at its January meeting.  The board appoints resident advisors for 1-year terms, and these individuals act as liaisons to the community.

  • Trisha Smith – President
  • Milton Uzzell – Treasurer
  • Marianne Carter – Secretary
  • Peter Allen – Vice President
  • Guinn Beaver – Director at Large

We invite you to live and play at Chadwick Shores, one of Sneads Ferry’s best private communities for homeowners.

Number of homes

There are 492 properties within CS, of which 351 are homes, and 141 are undeveloped lots. It is anticipated that by year’s end, four additional homes will have been built. The remaining undeveloped lots vary in size, and are located throughout the community, thereby offering prospective buyers a wide selection to choose from.

For HOA rules regarding building standards for new structures, see the HOA Declarations.  For instructions on obtaining HOA approval of new home construction, contact hoaboard@chadwickshores.com.
